How to Fully Moisturize Your Entire Blanket of Skin
After a shower or bath, gently blot your skin dry, leaving it slightly damp. Your skin is now ready for full-body hydration. Begin with your 7/8ths (your body).
Choose either your Seven 8ths Hand-Whipped Hydrating Body Cream or your Seven 8ths Hand-Blended Harmonizing Body Milk. Because our products rely on plant chemistry instead of lab chemistry, they have no artificial agents, fillers, or emulsifiers. As a result, natural separation may occur, which is expected in an all natural product.
Shake or stir before every use to refresh the formula.
Our moisturizers are very nutrient dense and nourishing — a little goes a long way. A quarter-size amount covers a leg or torso. A dime-size amount covers an arm.
Always begin with your feet. Dispense your desired amount and moisturize your feet fully, paying close attention to your heels, ankles, and each of your toes. Do not rush, make the time for yourself and your body.
Use upward strokes toward your heart. Pay special attention to your:
- Calves
- Knees and the back of your knees
- Entire pelvic region
- Full front torso
- Elbows
- Full arms and shoulders
- Hands and each finger
- Full neck
Now you are ready to move to your 1/8th (your face).
Shake to refresh your Seven 8ths Rebalancing Face Moisturizer before every use. A dime-size (two pumps) covers just the face; a quarter-size (three pumps) covers both face and neck.
Always begin with your eyes. Close your eyes and lightly pat and smooth the moisturizer over your eyelids and on the delicate area around your eyes. While keeping your eyes closed, gently smooth the moisturizer over your entire face and extend the nourishment down to the base of your neck.
Apply any remaining product to your upper chest, following the natural lines of lymphatic drainage. Because there are a great number of lymph vessels in the face, finishing by moving your fingers along lymph lines with a light facial massage will assist with lymphatic drainage. Think of it as gently moving water beneath a delicate surface. Now, gently massage the moisturizer back over the face and the entire eye area, now open your eyes.
Any excess moisturizer in the palms of your hands may be used for your hair and scalp as a light, nutrient-dense conditioner.
We recommend SPF of 50 on any exposed skin during the daytime.
Now take three full, deep breaths. You are ready.
